Ten Years Later

It has been ten wonderful years that Wade and I have been married. Today as we celebrate our Anniversary, I want Wade to know how much I love him. I also thank him for always supporting and loving me. He is the best daddy any child could ask for and I love him for that.

Christmas 2008

This Christmas we were able to spend it with Wade's family. We arrived a week early for Mallory and Eli's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and it was so wonderful to see family. Some of the family were meeting both Ethan and Andrew for the very first time. Wade was to return to work for a couple of days and then return, but the weather had other plans for us. Wade, the boys and I were able to spend 10 days there. It was much over due.

This is the first Christmas that Ethan fully understood Santa and mommy and daddy took every advantage to the situation. Daddy had many calls to Santa this year to report if Ethan was being a good little boy. It was a great push to also get him fully potty trained.

Ethan was so excited this year for months he has been asking Santa for a space shuttle. He was very happy to find out that Santa kept his promise.

On Christmas Eve, Ethan and Grandma of course made cookies for Santa to put out. Grandma loves to bake. Everytime we see her Ethan and her get to bake cookies since mommy does not bake. This is going to change soon though. Grandma started up my baking products for Christmas. Now I have all the great tools in order to bake cookies and pies. No more excuses for this mama. . . After the baking was done, we sat around Grandma for our story to be read, this is a tradition and a tradition that I truly love and hope to always continue.

Christmas day finally arrived and Ethan was so excited but such a patient little boy. There is a picture in the slide show where he is just sitting in front of his presents while we were trying to sort them all out. He did such a great job not to mention that the presents were stacked under the tree for days and all he did was sit there and admired them.

This was also a very special Christmas. It was our little Angel's first Christmas. Andrew did not know what was truly going on, but Ethan enjoyed opening twice as many gifts.

Wade and I are so fortunate to have two wonderful boys and wonderful families. Although we did not see my family this Christmas, they were of course close to our hearts and mind.

We hope that each of you also enjoyed your Christmas and have a Happy New Year!!

Winter Fun

While visiting Grandma and Papa, we of course played in the snow. We had so much fun but when I got done I told Grandma and Papa that my toes were frozen.

Congratulations Mallory and Eli
